*bashful face*

Postby k-dawg » Sun Mar 18, 2012 10:37 am

so, um. i have tried to make myself an admin on my playback servers, so i don't have to sit through a 5 hour (IRL) game at 1x.

but its not letting me add myself. :\

i've searched forums. but nothing i could find really helped. i've tried the readme, and looked at the configfile or whatever its called in the dedcon.

:\

any suggestions, links or tips on how to make this happen?

you can modify speed in recordings by using this command in the chatbox

Code: Select all

/Speed 1-999999999

Speed 999999999 is the fastest you can go and 1 being the slowest, however if you enter 999999999 more than one time (as In, type the same command over and over) it seems to get faster each time.

Hope that helped.

tried in the Terminal (im on mac) and in game, i don't have admin rights, says the game. i can fix it with /set speed 20 but i need to become an admine on my own server. (stupid, right?)

What you enter into the chat box (not the terminal) should look as above. Don't use /set before the command, just /speed

If this can't solve your problem, and you are still asked for admin rights then I don't know what's wrong. Perhaps something related to using the software on a Mac?

In leu of carebear it means that /speed 999999 is redundant, /speed 20 however will work on a exponential form eg: speed doubles off of the proir speed request
