Authentication key lost - Destination on MAC?

Postby DaDan » Sun Apr 18, 2010 12:32 pm

Heya,

I lost my key for Defcon after my mac hd crashed. I bought Defcon online, so I tried to find the email with the key, but I couldn´t. Defcon is still installed on the old harddisk. The files on the crashed HD are still alive, so is there a file, where my key is recorded? Thanx for your help

If you have the Mac version of the game, then you will need to contact Ambrosia Software for support and for key recovery.

If I'm not mistaken, the autkey is stored in the file ~/Library/Preferences/uk.co.introversion.defcon.authkey . Where ~ is your user's home directory. I don't know how to access that if you don't boot the system it belongs to, however, not a Mac nut.
