I've uploaded a version of Scanner Sombre to the beta branch on Steam that may (should) improve rendering performance. If you would like to give it a try, please leave feedback here.
To switch to the branch, right click on Scanner Sombre in your library. Select Properties, Betas tab, then select "beta" branch.
