Execution - Different forms of

Postby trains5390 » Sun May 01, 2016 6:40 pm

Hello. I wondered if different forms of execution would be a viable game component. I have proposed some ideas with this below:

Features:

Prisoners could choose form of execution, state corrections could assign a certain procedure or you could offer a certain type of execution.
Some would be regarded as cruel and unusual punishments as an event and would require removal of method until enquiry finishes.
Grants would be suitable to build a certain type of execution chamber.
Could also have contact by human rights groups who would challenge you on your execution type.
Choice screen for which type you would like once execution chamber built.

Forms:

Lethal Injection - Would require a gurney, executioner, machine (optional) and drugs required. Prisoners could choose this form of execution, however you would have to buy in the drugs from a list of reputable and non reputable sources. A possible event to work with this would be a botched execution, where you would have an execution that did not work correctly, as a result from buying from the wrong source. Guards would require training to place IV lines.

Gas Chamber - Would require chamber, executioner and a gas flow (either connection or bottled). This type could have a leak event which would cause prisoners to become ill and would require you to order evacuation of close by cell blocks etc. until gas clears. Would also be under scrutiny if found to be cruel and unusual.

Firing Squad - Could be indoors or outdoors. Would require armed guard training to fire at prisoner. Could be set as a backup measure.

Electric Chair - Could cause witness discomfort or fire.

Thanks for reading this and I welcome any suggestions below! :D
