Hi everybody
I'm kind of upset about the lack of possibility to choose a death-penalty free mode.
I personally feel that there is no fun in building execution rooms and turning on and off
electric chairs. I would strongly request the option to play the game without this.
I don't judge the game for containing this part, neither do I judge someone if he/she enjoys
this aspect of the game, but I think it would be just fair to have an opt-out option here.
The way it is, honestly, I would rather have the game refunded if that was possible with Steam.
Cheers

Re: Request: Death-Penalty Free Mode
Sorry mate but this mode effectively already exists, as you have to research the tech for any death penalty mechanics to be usable. The room type, and chair aren't even in the extended objects list until the tech is unlocked. Asking the devs to restrict it any further would be unreasonable.

Thanks for your reply - I do appreciate your opinion.
Honestly, though, I didn't even get that far in the game, where I had to research anything.
It was the introductury / tutorial part which consisted just of building an execution room that upset me.
Quite a rocky start to somebody who refuses the death penalty, don't you think?

Ah fair enough, it's been years since I did that, so I forgot about the intro. Not sure, but it's probably skippable and in sandbox (the main mode) its completely optional.

They did give you the option to skip that part
