Zoro I think you are being pessimistic. I have had three great games this week, although being beaten up by the mighty Hammer yesterday wasnt fun ;)

I just love the fact that good new players can play against returning pros from five years ago, it is fascinating. Also that I can download and watch matches from years ago like red button tourney.

I guess it's because of stress, defcon is hard these games are easy so I chose something that's not a chore.

Glad I'm not the only one. Haven't had much time at all lately but when I get an hour or so free DEFCON is too stressful.

Most video games today are just high end graphic cartoon movies with the need to press A all the time. No story, no need for dextirity and all the way just brainless.

I agree with some of this - I have been playing video games for many years and the skill factor has gone down. But lets be honest who really wants to grind donkey kong to level 100 when you can be immersed in a virtual world. I don't think modern games are "brainless" but I do think that game designers need to put "learning" into games rather than just produce hi-tech movies.

Did you know that daily Sudokus don't disappear the next day. Instead, it stays archived for 24/7 access when you want to come back and replay a particular game. https://sudokupro.app/daily-sudoku/ is a great site for playing sudoku. If you complete daily online Sudoku challenges, you will soon notice an improvement in concentration and memory, regardless of your age and gender.
