GumpcomLAN is back!

GumpcomLAN is back with their first LAN Party of 2009!

Multiwinia: Survival of the Flattest will be featured again, back by popular demand.

Multiwinia - 1v1 Single Elimination

Number of players per team: 1
Tournament Type: Single Elimination

Tournament Rules

•Players are randomly placed in their brackets
•The first round is played in "Capture the Statue" mode
•The second Round is played in "Rocket Riot" mode
•The third round is played in "Assault" mode. This is played twice, with players switching teams after the first game. Scores are added together to get the overall winner
•Game modes for subsequent rounds are randomly chosen from the three types listed above.
•The game mode for the final can be agreed between both players

Begins: Friday, 24 April 2009 19:00
Ends: Sunday, 26 April 2009 19:00

You mean, the one destroying the WMD faster wins? Just be sure to avoid The Third Kind, then. IIRC, that's the only 1vs1 map where a reasonably skilled defender will always win, not counting extreme cases of bad crate luck.

No :) It's well known Evilinains help the defender if you just let them live. I mean stuff like the attacker getting several of nukes, *strikes or shields early on.

I'm actually quite tempted to go along to that, I met some of the guys from KustomPC at i36, getting into the LAN scene seems quite fun. Falkirk isn't too far from me. . . .
