Website Downtime

Postby Mark » Sun Jun 15, 2008 5:05 pm

For about four hours on Sunday afternoon the Introversion website was down. Sorry about the interruption, but we're back up now. That's what happens when your technical director goes on his honeymoon and I install a new HDD and forget to bring across my old private key! Anyway, thanks to NeoThermic and a little Linux magic we are back up now. Enjoy!

Oh noes! Stuff and the bork!

Let's be honest, larger sites go down a hell of a lot more often and we have no explanations, looking at Blizzard in particular here.

Thanks for the heads up though, always nice to be let know what was going on.

I'd also like to report that Murphy was spotted near our server as it went down. I'm sure it's related :)

and there was me hoping the downtime meant reinvention and updated site. It was quite distressing not to peruse the forums in my revision break.

I was thinking slashdot or something similar. Didn't remember that it could also be that the trout were smashed.

Well, now this makes a little bit more sense

Heh, wrong search terms: "trout are smashed" gives the right topic. Well, sort of. :P
