BRITISH POODLE? my ass!

Postby Protect and survive » Sat Apr 05, 2008 12:25 am

I hate the way the world thinks of britain as americas poodle. Sure, we invaded Iraq with em but we could of spat in their faces anytime we liked! Britain has to retain some of its independence and america is not helping.

You must not pay any attention to the international news -- people have been using that phrase since Blair decided to involve the UK in Bush's war in Iraq.

Aren't Poodles French? I don't think the breed matters as much as the fact that it is female. . . ;)

Poodles were probably first bred as hunting dogs, several hundred years ago. They are references to poodles and "water dogs" or "water spaniels" in Medieval literature (all are about the same thing) used in fowl hunting throughout Europe. So, they are neither specifically French, nor specifically German.
