I am ever so slightly bored, so here's a poll.

What are your views on the Earth?

If it's none of them, which one is closest?

More infomation:

Round Earth looks like this:

Flat Earth looks like this (click for an FAQ!):

Hollow Earth looks like this:

The Earth is on Mars, but the US government's tried to cover it up by faking a moon landing by Faul behind the grassy knoll.

I'm going for the most obviously retarded one in that list.

Apparently the Hollow Earth theory makes more sense than the FE theory.

I read that flat earth thing, and it was somewhat believable until I got to the part about the sun and moon being spotlights.

Awww, come on, if the people had the money to keep the conspiracy going, they'd have the money to set up a spotlight so that... uhhhh...

It's like people saying the earth was made in 7 days and is only 4000 years old, ie a load of baseless crap.

Earth is roughly a sphere and orbits the G type star we know as "the sun".

Agreed.

How can a sun with a 32 mile diameter light up half the Earth?

BTW, if you want to ask some questions about it but don't want to register there, I'll do it for you, if you want.

I voted neither.
It isn't really round. It's more like an eclips thingy. it's flatter at the poles.

Meh. "Flattish", "Roundish" & "Hollowish" - except the last one doesn't seem right. Hollowish?

The word you're looking for is ellipsoid, but given 'round' doesn't necessarily imply perfectly spherical I think you're being nitpicky.

EDIT: Heh, I like the pictures added to the first post. "Hmmmm... will I trust the photograph, the CG visualisation or the diagram?"

I wonder who voted "flat".
