Are you fed up with polls?

Well I don't know about you people but I am.

I'm sick of seeing random polls, polls should be used for important stuff not harry potter or your favorite holiday.

These polls don't serve any purpose other than letting all of us see what the tastes of this board are. Let them be humorous. It's not like the polls are being used for serious research.

I really hope this thread is a huge exercise in irony.

Yea, I stopped random Polls ( i can hear praises). But I dont really mind. I tried to do a weekly "would you rather" poll, but was executed.

Ironic. Is this poll important?

Anyway, what's the harm? If you don't like them, don't read them.

As I appear to be the reason this topic was started, I feel obliged to have my say on this.

First and foremost, this is the Lounge. This means that discussions can be about all sorts of things, and this 'important stuff' you're talking about would be more out of place here than the polls I have placed so far (with a few exceptions). Second, I start these polls to ignite discussions, as I have noted in the last couple of polls. When starting out with the right questions, it can be really interesting to see what's on people's minds.

Do realize that I don't start these polls purely for my own entertainment. Many people have said that they like them, and because people kept saying this I eventually resumed posting them.

If you're sick of seeing these polls, you might consider suggesting a subject that would be interesting to you, or you could always start one yourself. As arrogant as it may sound, I'm afraid you will find little support around here this way.

Where's the "have TimTim fed to a pack of hungry wolves" option?

The poll should have asked if we're fed up with CowboyNeal.
