DEFCON in UK stores today!

Postby vic » Fri Jun 15, 2007 11:09 am

DEFCON arrives in the UK highstreet today! Congratulations and a big thank you to everyone at Pinnacle and IV who've worked so hard to get this ball rolling. :D

Mark and I will be heading out soon and hope to catch sight of a copy or two on the shelves - if anyone beats us to it please take some photos and post them here!

Well you certainly would be seeing any in my wee town!

Although I'm sure there will be copies to be had in Glasgow - I remember once seeing a copy of Darwinia in Virgin Megastores, which was a rather pleasant surprise.

Congrat'z from across the pond too. I didn't think photos of retail shelves could hold such meaning.
ALL the boxes at my local Arizona WalMart disappeared (sold out) about a month ago.
I didn't even get a chance at a second purchase for friend gifts. Father's Day is soon, ya know.
Imagine Father's Day all huddled up in the bunker with a pack of jammy dodgers. What fun.

Congratulations! :D
My visit to my local independent game shop a few minutes ago yielded no copies though :(

And you just left it at 20? You should have moved it up to 1! ;)

I found Darwinia in a bargain bin a few weeks ago, but just bought it instead. Now I have 3 copies, not counting the copy I bought as a gift. (On a semi-related note, it sure looks good on the 42" LCD in the living room. :D )

Heh. I'm reminded of this - unfortunately no IV games have turned up visibly in Oz, so I've never been able to do my bit.

My local Blockbuster has it at number 1!

I guess my boxed version of Defcon I was so proud to have is not as special as it once was! :P

It's a different design; be proud!
