DEFCON for Indie Game award - voting open!

Postby vic » Sun May 06, 2007 8:35 pm

After reaching the semi-finals for Darwinia in 2006, DEFCON is up for an award at this year's Indie Game Developers Showcase. This is a great award that really celebrates the creative diversity within indie game development and we're really happy to be a part of it. If you'd like to rate DEFCON and check out the other games we're up against, head to http://www.indiegameshowcase.com/. Awards are allocated by popular vote so don't be shy! :D

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I do believe that we have been given permission to vote as early and often as we can.

It's not going to stop anyone else - lie to your hearts content!

EDIT: Uh, DEFCON's got a brilliant story!

Since I've never heard of any of the other contenders, voting was relatively easy :)

I gave it a 10, and wrote:Defcon is a long awaited game that fulfills many a players desire to see an enjoyable game built around global thermonuclear war. From it's seemingly simplicity of graphics and game play comes hours upon hours of great fun. Since entering my collection, Defcon has caused all those other games I posses to go into retirement, only to gather dust and fade away in the aftermath of thermonuclear war.
