Introversion visits Future Publishing

Postby Chris » Tue Aug 24, 2004 2:35 pm

Chris, Mark and Tom converged on Bath from their homes around the country on Friday 20th August, in order to pay a personal visit to Future Publishing. We took our big laptop and a few disks of Darwinia along to the PC Gamer offices, gathered everyone around, and showed them what we've been up to for the past 3 years.

The demo led to drinks at the pub, which led to a curry, which led to more drinks and a nightclub. Read all about it here. With pictures!

So we can expect the results of this endeavour in a couple of months time in PC Gamer, I assume? Well, glad things are moving along for you, Chris.

Shouldn't the electric discharge be blue? It looks way cooler like that, but what would I know - I'm talentless :-)

wow, just looking at the pictures and read what you wrote.

Looks like you had a great time and must have been wicked meeting them guys.

Is their going to be a review in pcformat? (i'm subscribed to it, good if their was something about it in their)

In the Game Maker including with pcformat 2 months ago i think it mentiond uplink and also mentiond darwinia. :)

looks like you had fun getting pissed.

I would think it was as it isn't a laptop and there is a big Alienware tower next to it

There's also an ITX system next to the Alienware case with no monitor.
Is it not entirely possible that they use one monitor for all three systems?

The demo seemed to go pretty well...we had Chris playing and explaining the game on Future's Alienware beast PC, and we had our big laptop set up for people to play the game themselves.

There is no mention of another system

It doesn't matter anyway - my point was the Cityscape
