Fatal error

Every time I try to open Uplink, a window says, and I quote:

A Fatal Error occured in Uplink.

Please report this on the Uplink forums at
http://www.introversion.co.uk/

Uplink will now shut down.

Well, I followed the rules, and here I am. Has anybody gotten the same error message as me, and if so, does anyone know how to fix it?

I've moved this to the correct forums, the bug forum.

A few questions we need to ask.

1) What version of Uplink are you running? 1.0? 1.31? 1.55?

2) What version of Uplink is it? Introversion Store? Stream? Strategy First?

3) Please check the debug text in the Uplink folder and post it here. The actual error message is the default one.

It turns out that I wasn't able to install the file in the first place because I needed to be an admin. Never mind, it works now.
