I got new drivers for my Trident Super VGA, these make it run in 16 bit colour as before 16 colours and 256 colours were available, now when i start the game it just displays a series of green lines down the screen.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Well you should probably role back the drivers to your previous working version.  A new graphics card would be your best bet though.  Almost anything will be better that that.  :)

Check http://www.voodoofiles.com for the lastest drivers and make sure you delete/move/rename the opengl32.dll in the uplink directory.

Even games like Quake don't run on your Voodoo 2 card?

Download and install GLSetup at http://www.glsetup.com/ and make sure you have a recent version of DirectX (8a or 8.1) but i don't recommend upgrading Directx 9 with voodoo 2.
