Okay, when I first booted Uplink, I had a mouse, briefly. I had it long enough to press 'Okay'. Then, when it got to the screen where it has two choices [About Us & Register] I had no mouse. If I moved my mouse about, it would select the options, but no visible mouse. I went into the help-file & saw that it said to boot Uplink and then type in +graphics_softwaremouse. I tried that and still got no mouse. [If it makes much difference, I'm running on WinME (urg) and using the demo version]

Cursor Issue

That happened to me so I use the software mouse cursor... maybe switch your mouse cursor to a default Windows mouse cursor then select "Software Mouse" under graphics options?
It doesn't look NEARLY as cool as my System Shock 2 mouse cursor... but hey, the game rocks, so it makes up for it.
