SUGGESTION: Game as Screen Saver
I really like watching the mode where the game plays itself. I think it would be cool if there was some functionality to use the game as a screen saver! Perhaps call the game executable with the proper command line settings or something?

Yeah, this was already suggested before release, although to my knowledge, no one has heard anything from Chris (or anyone at IV) about it, which is kind of a shame. I agree with vogelap on the globe and Darwinia intro. Both of those are probably very simple pieces of code, and if IV ever releases an Uplink-style DevCD, I'm sure someone will make some kind of saver. For the moment, though, I'm not sure it's very likely.

Actually, I believe I can have the game called such that it will enter a rolling demo mode using a simple script for ... key something or other...
Anyway, it would be easy enough to have it automated-ly start DEFCON and go to rolling demo with an exe I could have made form a script in a few minutes.

The problem with having a rolling demo as a screensaver would be that it hogs system resources. I guess the best way I can think of to do this is record several rolling demo games as movie files and somehow program those into a screensaver, rotating the games randomly.
