CARROTMAN: you need to extract the archive (.zip) before launching it.

Since you got WinRAR, right mouse clicking on the archive .zip should show a popup menu and from there select "Extract to [archive name]" (ex: "Extract to prisonarchitect-alpha4-pc")

Or simply double click on the archive .zip (ex: prisonarchitect-alpha4-pc.zip), this will should open the archive in your WinRAR and show the files. Then simply click "Extract to" and select a path to extract Prison Architect, this could be a directory on your desktop or in your documents.

Else search for "extract archive winrar" on YouTube...

It helps.

There seems to be two problems here.

1) Once the .zip archive is extracted, you need to launch 'prison architect.exe' from the extracted location.

2) It seems your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirement of OpenGL 2.0 to play Prison Architect Alpha 3 and above. Download Alpha 2 from the download page. This may be fixed in further alphas, see the quote from Chris the main developer below.

I get a black screen when i start the game. The music is playing and the laptop isn't crashing.
