So how would you guys describe multiwinia to people? In a way that's accurate and will make them want to play it.

Half an hour ago I put my two cents in for the Save Multiwinia campaign and recommended a couple of classmates to play multiwinia. I found it incredibly hard to describe multiwinia to them, as they were from cambodia so their english wasnt 100% and they had only really played mainstream games. They had no idea what an indie game was. I tried to describe it as a sort of multiplayer action-stratergy and some how they came to the conclustion that it was a turn based game.

excluding the guy who bought it-two, because I forced them to (peer pressure DOES work), and two others because I knew they were fan of RTS games and it's a small download.
But this was before the Multiplayer demo came out. Might have another go at pimping this game to those people, and more. It's a good thing because all of them had no clue how to play the game. And like most people they couldn't be bothered to try the tutorial..

I play Multiwinia during school via USB when I get the chance and most people complain about the graphics and that it isn't an rpg or a shooter..With the exception for a couple (even though they still bash on the graphics).
to make MW portable for USB just copy and paste the whole Multiwinia folder and use the -noprofile switch (frenchfrong was the one who told me this) and it'll save the profile to the Multiwinia directory instead of local settings...so you don't have to change the settings everytime you get on a new computer, etc.
