Failed to get level due to invalid game type or map id

Postby DoubleFelix » Sat Oct 18, 2008 7:52 pm

This occurred when I chose to host a game, chose Domination, and the error appeared immediately after clicking 'A Monument to the Heavens'. The sound of the game hung, and the game crashed soon after.

I would have likely posted this in a different thread, but my search for this error returned 39 pages of messages, none of which (that I saw) even /contained/ the error at all.
I don't believe this really requires system information as it doesn't affect graphics or anything, but I'll get additional info if requested to.

EDIT: Note, this was a one time thing. It worked immediately afterward and still works now.

I've had this once. I was using WinRAR to create a low frame rate however. This might have been the cause. I would try again, but the menu was so awkward to navigate (2 FPS), I can't be bothered. :P
