Defcon for iPhone

Postby Barken » Sun Dec 28, 2008 12:43 am

I love Defcon, but it isn't portable enough. My idea is just taking Defcon, reducing it from 6 players max, to 4 (still available online via wifi or 3g), and halving the amount of assets (12 subs to 6 subs, 7 radar to 4, 6 silos to 3, etc..)

To navigate would be simple, drag two fingers to move around the map, pinch to zoom, tap once for selection double tap for drop down menu.

This would favor from a direct port because of the iPhone's inability to handle a full version of the game.

So yeah, just my small thought, would love to see it put into action :D

thats back when the iphone didn't support 3rd party applications.

My suggestion is a native app.

The clarity is amazing! Question, can you see the fighters shooting down nukes on that?

Oh yes, you have to squint a bit but you can definitely see it due to the phone handling the voxel rendering quite nicely.

This is definitely a stealth spambot. Text is copied from some Q&A forum.
