Should I feel complimented at that statement or suddenly enter a mad rush to change my avatar? :P

why dont you post the entire production of the Simpsons while ur at it? Gees that thing is long!

Great, what was previously a discussion about a rather neat mod by mamachin has now turned to the subject of my rather strange avatar. I hate drawing attention to myself, you know that? :P

At any rate, you had the patience to watch the thing, didn't you? ;)

Don't worry. It's hilarious.

Why has "CityPopulations" been removed from gameoptions.txt?

I like to play Survival and Genocide games with "Totally Random" and would like to do so with this mod installed.

What ill effects will I encounter if I add this option back myself?

FYI, this mod is pretty dull with every city having an identical population.

Just out of curiosity, does this mod have 'Upland' in the USA? It should be in the "California" region on the west cost. If you see Ontario, it should be the next city over.

Questions about the mod:

Why is Glasgow and Aberdeen listed as Scotland, while Edinburgh is listed as United Kingdom?
Why isnt Cardiff, Swansea listed as Wales and not United Kingdom?

The mod is great, but I find these to be a little hickelty-pickelty.

Like having the folowing in-game as:

Kansas City and St Louis as "Missouri" and having Springfield (Mo) as U.S.A.

just odd.. :P

All that was done for the mod was editing of the existing cities file, so any superficial oddness to the naming system is down to IV, not the creator of the mod.

By reading the FAQ. Also, for future reference, this topic is not a general topic about using mods, but rather a topic particular to a specific mod. It is also a topic that is "dead" (i.e. no one has posted in it in quite a while). Assuming that your question had not been answered in the FAQ, which it is, you should have either found a more relevant topic to post in, or created a new topic. You should not bump old topics with comments that are not germane. Hell, you really shouldn't bump old topics at all.

I understand some people are having a problem where every city has the same population. I have updated the mod and this should fix the problem. New link in my original post.
