Hi guys, in prison architect, building lots of the same room can be very tedious and boring. So if anyone is good at creating mods, can you create a mod for customisable quick build or make it possible to create your own quick build options so that mass production of your own rooms could be simple and easy.

That would be awesome! I hate the layout of the office, who would have their back facing the door in a prison?!

Yuk, I have read a lot of your mod request and there all really good ideas.

Is it possible if you could explain the clone tool for me as mine doesn't work. I dont know if it's my game or the game itself or whether im using it wrong.

Use the right mouse button to click and drag the area you want to clone, then it will show in a green box and you can go place it where it's needed :D.

Ah thank you very much I was using left mouse button now I feel like an idiot. Much appreciated dude. Also could you tell me how to sell objects I am not using please?

Click on them and then click sell in the little popup to the right....or if there is none click dismantle to send to storage (recommended) or dump to throw away. There's a dismantle object button in the objects thing but it will dismantle everything it clicks...if you have a shower with a drain and a radiator and click that square all 3 of them will be dismantled...if you click one of them with your mouse and hit dismantle it will only do that one.

My mod, Prison Architect Plus, has added a few quick builds including a Better Office, aptly named. I currently have planned 1 more quick build, the canteen, but after that I have no more ideas. I can add more, but nothing too big. Any specific ideas?

I dont suppose you you call this big mate but what about create-your-own-quick build if you know what I mean or maybe an option to be able to change what the default quick build options look like? If these Ideas are too big just let me know and I will think of some more!

There's already a thing like that called the clone tool. I don't know what else you want from it, except for maybe making and saving quickbuilds in game but I can't do that.

I meant to say that I can add quickbuilds to the game, and as long as they don't have 50 objects inside I could do it. Only reason why it has to be somewhat small is because I have to manually place each object in the text document and I have to manually tell it where to be placed and what direction to face.

Clone tool can't be rotated and requires the thing to exist first....so it's not very "quick build" is it? lol

But if you do like me and make rows of stuff then you end up having to make a version facing every side to have one on each side of a corridor lol. Makes it annoying. Wish I could rotate!

To be able to save already made buildings as a quick build option would be good but it can't be done however would it be possible wyxe if you could make cloned buildings rotatable?

I won't be able to do that, but I'm sure it's possible to someone who can dig deep in the code.
