Freezing every 10 sec. for 2 sec.

Hello,
I just wanted to ask a question, does someone of you had the same bug as me? Since my prison is getting quite big, it is now freezing every 10 seconds for 2 seconds. Not unplayable, but really, really annoying. So I've found this topic that didn't help:

It happens in pause, but very fewer, it happens also in escape mode, but at a lesser frequency than in normal mode... (more every 20 seconds)

Do you think it is a bug? I have a quite good computer, that should not have this kind of problem I think. And as it is intermittent, I really think it comes from the game.

EDIT: actually, it's more 5 seconds every 8-9 seconds, so really annoying -.-

i would recommend to attach the savegame, so that other players can check if its only in your savegame and reproducable on other hardware. Maybe i also could find optimations of your prison to reduce lags (for example power grid loops or pipe loops)

but,
I had this same issue during the alpha [in a large prison] and it ruined the game experience for me.
Ive come back to PA after full version release expecting the intermittent freeze problem to be solved..... if I hit this same problem again [I havent made another huge prison yet] its gonna ruin the game for me again *cough* refund *cough*

does anyone have anything useful to share about this if it occurs?
[maybe there is a simple way to prevent intermittent freezing by adjusting settings or something?]

your map froze in places and ran badly for me [it crashed to desktop on me at one point]


Im very disappointed.

If the reward for doing well and building up a large money pool [from selling previous prisons] and graduating to playing a huge prison, is that the game will freeze and crash then imo the game is broken and I for one may decide invoke my statutory rights [if required] to spend my money on another game that isnt broken.
I will be following this topic with great interest and I hope Introversion are looking into this problem with PA

my system can and does run much much more complex programs [smoothly] so im not entertaining the idea of this being ''on my end'' ... its a programming issue that needs to be resolved.

i have noticed this behavior in my large prisons, but not as excessive as yours. maybe a .25 second hiccup every 15-20 seconds. and im not sure what causes it, but in my prisons it seems the game will constantly be getting slower and slower as the prison grows, up to a certain point where something in the code triggers and all of a sudden i break through a wall and go from 7ish frames a second to about 15-20 frames a second but with the hiccup. though the prison will continue again to slow down as it grows more and more.

I'm having this issue as well in a small prison. I was having it in a larger prison so I figured it was just an old map. I made a new prison and am still having the same issue. The game is nearly unplayable for me now. So frustrating!
