Adding a bathroom room?

Postby ojman101 » Mon Dec 22, 2014 5:08 pm

Hello,

I was wondering if the developers of prison architect would add a bathroom room; So you place it down and it requires toilets.
That is all.

We don't need a bathroom. Place some toilets in a room, and prisoners will use it.

You do need a bathroom because you're not going to place toilets in the canteen; also in the needs tab bladder gets high when the prisoners are in the canteen.
With a bathroom they could walk out of the canteen to the bathroom and come back again.

I don't think anything negative happens if you place toilets in the canteen.

Sure, you of course have a toilet in your kitchen at home too!
And one in your bed room, living room, study, classroom, back yard, front yard.

/End sarcasm.
Toilets in canteen -> not a good idea.
Bathroom concept -> just place a toilet in the showers?

Well first of all this isn't a home, this is prison, where there ARE toilets in your bedroom. As for toilets in the kitchen or canteen and such... true you wouldn't find one in the middle of the room, but it's not unheard of to have a washroom off to the side of a cafeteria or a high traffic area. Have you never been to a hospital, shopping mall... heck even just a public school?

I'm not talking about a kitchen, bedroom, etc, I'm talking about a canteen.
You're not going to put a toilet in a canteen(in a prison anyway).
Plus in a real house you have a bathroom.

ojman101, just an FYI... until the devs do implement this suggestion, or in the even they decide not to... there are 2 or 3 mods on the Steam Workshop that add toilet rooms.

2 notable ones are:
rsdworker's toilet mod
my better cells mod
