Consistently crashing

So ever since the A27 update, I've been having the same crashes. I've tried deleting everything and reinstalling via steam, but it doesn't work. I can get it to run in Safe mode though. This is what my crash looks like.

Have you tried changing the graphics settings down and running it?

I would.... if I could get it to run long enough to change the graphics settings. At this rate it doesn't even load up long enough before it crashes.

Bumping this one. Game is currently absolutely unplayable. Updated to A28 and it's still a big fail.

I can get it to start in Safe Mode. Changed graphic settings to low, and disabled all mods just to be sure. Still fail.

Did the game run fine before Alpha 27? Can you provide us with a debug.txt file? The file can be found at:
C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect

It looks like a graphics issue to me.

I think your renderer is too weak, but I'm not sure.

This is a report on the HD 8550M, and it seems to struggle a lot with some older games:

Even though Prison Architect seems like a graphically simple game, it actually does use some resources from the GPU. So what I can suggest is to try updating your drivers to the latest version. Otherwise, you might need to upgrade your laptop.

Also, if you're able to play in Safe Mode, then it's probably an issue between your GPU and the in-game shader system.

The confusing thing is that I have had zero problems running PA up until A27 was released.

I think during A27 they made some changes to improve compatibility with some Intel Chip-sets. This may have led to some new issues with other renderers.
