[Suggestion] Improved wiring

Postby blipadouzi » Wed Sep 17, 2014 2:30 pm

As it is the wiring system itself it perfect for the game, or at least in the way I play it.

The problem occurs when you have to wire 8 cameras to a monitor or 12 or more doors to a station when you have a huge prison. Wiring them one by one and having to travel halfway across the map, back and forth is tedious at best.

I suggest modifying wiring slightly so that when an object is clicked on at the origination point for the wiring, it remains the active origination point until say the player right-clicks. This way you, can can wire multiple objects (say 8 cameras) to the item quickly and efficiently, without having to see-saw across the map.

Holding down shift while you left click on the servo or camera will keep the connection open and allow you to click another object.
