Assignment R:

#291 - Bureaucracy Locked After Loading Autosave
Resolved - Unable to reproduce after 7 attempts on two prisons.

#718 - Foundation does not finish, nor can be deleted to attempt a new one
Resolved - Unable to reproduce. May be related to #2439.

#885 - Lockdown and Solitary reset after reloading the prison
Resolved - The information is saved correctly.

#1539 - Foundation's Don't Complete
Open - If this report is about the fact that foundations don't complete when saving and loading during it's construction, then this report is still opened. If this report is about something else, then the description is too vague and should be closed.

That'll do it for tonight, tomorrow is another day!

I'm pretty sure that #133 is stupid user error (I feel confident about that ruling, as I am the stupid user that reported it).

Interesting, I skipped over that report because I assumed if Valves didn't save, then the Switches wouldn't either. I guess that's not the case anymore.

The prisoner intake is ALWAYS on "bug" family.
User error - Feature exists / Not a bug.
Users are OFTEN confused about how they can turn of the intake of prisoners when not in continuous intake mode.
This should be mentioned in a tutorial or something, but in any case it's not a bug and the requested feature already exists.

Not sure about this one, but I think it's related to the same.
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=2340

Report from Alpha 2 about intake, pretty sure this is no longer valid.
Theres not much info or anything, I'd say it's safe to close it off.
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=283

Report from Alpha 19 on Mac. He reports being able to close the intake of prisoners during continuous intake.
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=3819 - Need Feedback / Mac user to reproduce bug.

Report from Alpha-14 - Same as above just for windows.
I'm unable to reproduce this bug in Alpha 21.

#218 - Closed - Not a bug.
#222 - Resolved
#224 - Resolved - Cannot reproduce.
#230 - Feedback - User may be using an old OS version, or the binaries have been updated. Unable to test.
#236 - Resolved
#245 - Closed - Little no to information. The reporter made a comment saying the issue was fixed.
#253 - Resolved
#259 - Resolved
#272 - Resolved
#275 - Resolved in Alpha 14.
#277 - Resolved - Cannot reproduce.
#278 - Resolved in Alpha 21.
#288 - Duplicate of #101.
#301 - Closed - Not a bug.
#302 - Resolved - Cannot reproduce.
______________________________
Assignment R2:

#924 - Power line and Water line on same tile
Opened - Can be reproduced easily. All power cables can apparently be placed on top of each other over and over again regardless if there is a pipe under it, and doing so will cost money.
______________________________
Reef, I would also like to reopen issue #208. Apparently I was able to reproduce the issue described in that report.
  • Start a new game.
  • Construct a foundation and make sure a light gets installed.
  • Dismantle the light.
  • Thunderbolt symbol does not disappear, even if the light is moved to the Storage zone.
This was done without building a Power Station.
______________________________
Edit: During my checks for resolved bug reports, I also completed the O1 Assignment. The three of them (#104, #137, #163) are all resolved. The bugs that are attached to #163 are also resolved (#1140, #1528, #1646).

For what it is worth, I checked into R2 (bug report #942. This appears to be identical to #140, and is still an issue as of alpha 21.

EDIT: Ack. RGeezy did that. I missed it in the above post. Sorry about that. I am going to work on O7 for a while...

When filtering as outlined in assignment O7, there are about 125 results, most of which seem to have nothing to do with food. I have managed to work through the first 10 issues listed. For each issue, I first checked to see if it is resolved or not, then tried to find similar issues by filtering the tracker using appropriate keywords. Unfortunately, the two year old just woke up from her nap, so I can't spend any more time on this today.

  • Resolved issues:
    • #0000363 (issue: common rooms don't get used)
    • #0000521 (issue: prisoners satisfy needs in places other than designated rooms; I believe that this is not a bug)
    • #0000693 (issue: large files cannot be uploaded to the tracker---this is not a bug)
  • Prisoners are not picked up from delivery (when there is no holding cell?) and related AI problems. Mother bug #0000017
Possibly related bugs (which are not currently linked to this issue on the tracker):
    • #0002053 (dupe)
    • #0002818 (related---guards prioritize placing prisoners in individual cells over a holding cell)
    • #0003562 (possibly related?)
  • Entities can traverse walls. Mother bug: #0000096
    Possibly related bugs:
  • Objects can be used outside of the appropriate room. I don't know if this should be considered a bug, since zoning rooms seems to have more to do with where prisoners go and less to do with what they can do there, but the issue has been brought up a few times, so here we go:
    • #0000221 and #000744 (serving tables, cookers, and fridges get used outside of kitchens and canteens)
    • #0002936 (visitors sit at tables outside of visitation rooms)
    • #0002486 (prisoners use saws outside of a workshop)
  • Prisoners teleport from place to place. These seem to be related to #0000010, which Chris resolved and closed in alpha 2, though there are reports which post-date that resolution.
    • #0000421 (teleported to cell)
    • #0000628 (teleported to medical bed)
    • #0000878 (teleported to medical bed)
    • #0001085 (teleported to medical bed)
    • #0001111 (stuck to a toilet)
    • #0001997 (teleported to cell)
    • #0002446 (teleported to cell; stuck to a toilet)
    • #0002447 (teleported to cell from medical bed; related to release status?)
    • #0002685 (teleported to cell from solitary; related to release status?)
    • #0002796 (teleported to cell from solitary; stuck on toilet?)

We have smashed 213 bugs! Good work!

We have also grouped many issues into a hierarchical or logical net which lets us and IV navigate between them better. Lets smash even more!

Assignments are updated.

I don't think I should close 0000218. It is a text bug which has not been fixed yet.

I am swetting a bit over what happened at 0000278. If someone could pat me on the back, it would be appreciated.

I think 0000521 may be a real bug. I'm not comfortable closing it.

About 00278 I believe it's fixed. I'm unable to reproduce it in Alpha21 and they did rename it in A21 so I'd consider it resolved.

Another one about the intake:
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=3630 - This is resolved, not a bug and feature exists.

Fog of war:
This one lacks info about product version, also seems resolved in newer versions.

Been working on assignment O6 (Morgue):

Already Updated in database:
Dead visitors slides of Slabs and Trucks.
This seems to be two bugs, related to each other.
These affects both visitation visitors and the teacher visitor.
I suggest marking the active issues 1529 & 2487 as related.
