Stupid question...

Postby DarknessEyes » Tue May 06, 2014 6:23 pm

If I'M NOT MISTAKEN the high sec inmates can spend around 60 years or more in your prison and you can have 60 years old inmates.

Since there is no death from getting to old if you get an inmate that is 60 years old with a sentence of 60 years he will leave your prison with the age of 120 years old O.o

Not quite. This has been noted before. Currently, prisoners do not age in prison at all. If a prisoner enters your prison at the age of 50 with a 60 year sentence, he will leave your prison at the age of 50, after a certain number of in-game days have passed.

Related to this, does anyone know if there is a maximum sentence, or number of crimes committed? I've had prisoners with sentences of 100+ years, I'm just wondering if there's some built in maximum.

I think the only limit is the number of crimes for a prisoner, then the crime itself and its sentence duration is slightly random. By example let say the limit of crime per prisoner is 5, you could end with 1 sentence of 10 years, or 5 of 1 year, or 5 of 25 years which would lead to your case, and all other possibilities.

Inamts should die from age without affecting your rating/deaths.

afaik the devs are planning on adding this in eventually, but I suspect there are other things they plan on implementing first.
