Shotguns?

How in the world are my inmates getting their hands on shotguns???
I've confiscated about 10 of them so far. And under the "contraband" tab it doesn't indicate where they are acquiring them.


Just looking for some guidance here,

At the moment, shotguns can only be smuggled into the prison. I'm going to assume that prisoners will be able to steal them from rooms in the future. In your situation, the prisoners are getting randomly lucky with the contraband they bring into the prison.

For unrealistic reasons, Prisoners have random contrabands when they arrive to your prison. Could be shotgun, pistol, keys, baton, etc.


In future alphas, there may be armory so prisoners will start steal weapons there. Still thousands alpha to go.

No, because Introversion consists of only a few people, and are known for taking the time they need to develope their games. Although they have been releasing a new update almost every month, release times can vary. The next update is expected towards the end of this month, but an exact date cannot be specified.

However, you can review the previous dates for past updates on the dev wiki, and on the builds page.

Prisoners can able to steal any weapon, key, etc. If the guard is a fool.

Even the army is smuggling weapons like shotguns specially when its highly offered.

If a prisoner can get into an armory, they can steal pistols, shotguns, tasers and batons.

It can get pretty interesting if you make an armory in the canteen and incite a riot
