While single parented children are at a marginally higher risk of early sexual behavior, drug use, suicide and petty crime it should be pointed out that crime rates have been generally declining since the 1990s while single parenting has steadily increased in the same time frame. does anyone know any Gay Parents??

I do and to be honest they do have problems raising children despite whats Staceys 2010 survey may say.
Once the other kids at school find out they tend to bully that child for having "abnormal" parents - sometimes other parents and teachers too.
Sad is the child that doesnt go to parties because the other moms have decided to exclude the "gay" kid. I have 4 kids myself and although I am not intolerant of gay parents of homosexuals in general - i would think hard before allowing my kids to socialise with the children of gay parents (+ sadly i would NOT let them go round their house as i don't want my darlings asking me tough questions after!)
Gay and Lesbian parents also tend (not a rule) to be more volatile than traditional married father/mother familys which causes kids a lot of problems. As for sexuality - well in my experience the children of gay couples tend have a lot harder time especially when it comes to sex education as the lack of straight role models tends to shape their views at a young age. Very often kids of Gay Parents will exhibit same-sex sexual behaviours at a young age as they percieve it to be normal behaviour. But if little johnny is kissing micheal on the mouth and upsets him - then schools ring parents and shit hits the fan. BTW if your wondering where I get these idea's from - I worked as a classroom assistant in London Primary Schools for 8 years and met a lot of kids who had gay parents in that time.

Personally I don't think Gay people should be parents - not because of their sexuality - but because their sexuality is such a big part of their personalities. This makes it a much harder job as they have a lot more hurdles to get over. Childre require both female and male parents for different things and no matter how good two same sex parents may be they will lack in certain areas which they cannot do anything about. (not that male/female parents have all the answers mind you)
Parenting is a 21 year commitment from birth and is not to be taken lightly.

Homosexual parenting STILL needs heterosexuals to create those babies. Sperm and eggs can't be grown in test tubes from NOTHING.
Real world numbers and situations seem to disprove the egghead's theories. The breakdown of the conventional family unit is proof positive that a family made up of a MAN and WOMAN still works best. Actually I agree with you on this - except i would word it like this: Sexuality is a invididual choice and not something which should be thrust on someone especially a child who has no choice. Perspective same-sex parents should take this into consideration before taking the plunge.

You seem to have a distorted understanding of the meaning of homosexual. The definition of homosexual is "Homosexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction or sexual behavior between members of the same sex or gender."
It DOESN'T have to have love or even consent involved for it to be homosexual. So my example was appropriate. Let me just ask YOU, ever had a man's dingus shoved up your butt? Most men squirm with unease at the thought of just having a Doctor shove his finger up their butts for medical exams. I dunno, maybe you get all hot and squishy over anal sex.
