To build on this, a policy where you could mandate searches of visitors to prevent smuggling would be interesting. REALLY piss off the prisoners they were visiting, though.

Even just searching a few random people, like they do at airports and courthouses. Yeah, I know, not always for the right reasons at times.. but in this it would be truly random.
