Playing Prison Architect got me thinking about other games that could be made using the current engine.
The beauty of this game is the gameplay over graphics, too many modern games have spent their time making their game pretty from every angle possible and forgetting to make an actual game to go with it (SimCity).
This game is the opposite (not saying its ugly because it isn't)
I believe this engine and the Architect name could be used with other themes.
• Hotel Architect
• School Architect
• Shopping Mall Architect
• Airport Architect
• Train Station Architect
I bet we can think of many more and I hope the developers see the possibilities as well.

SimCity did have gameplay, it was the engine that let it down.

Many people have mentioned using the engine to remake Theme Hospital.
The new SimCity? Engine that let it down? No, it was the DRM that let it down and the tiny maps. I've avoided it like the plague. SimCity 4 is still the best.
Hospital Architect is another one.
Now with the PA engine, they could make all those games and cash in. If done well enough, I know I'd buy them.
However, not sure how they'd do the hotel one as you'd need server floors. Sim Tower was the best hotel management game.

More Game Ideas
- I'd love to see this engine used for something like an above ground Dwarf Fortress where you build a settlement and a castle.
- I could see a Space Station management game like SS13.
- I'd LOVE to see this engine used for something like Theme Hospital!
- You could also do Sims style games (Sims and/or Simcity).
- Business simulators would work: Capitalism or even retail environments.
This engine really does have some serious potential for making a HUGE variety of games.

A Hospital Architect (I loved Theme Hospital)would be fantastic, so would a airport one.
As for SimCity... I was excited to hear of it's return when it was announced, but due to the online requirements and small cities I never bought/played it. Such a dissapointment, especially after owning all the previous SimCity titles (excluding societies).

lucky guys these introversion developers, barely even ready to think about beta and already got us all clamoring for a whole series of architect games and truthfully, i would love to see them do at least a second title with the work put in here after PA is out and on the virtual shelves for real in full glory.
no kidding at all either there, good sandbox titles that entice you into spending countless hours obsessing over every detail are in far too short a demand, the new simcity, requires online saving? pfft nope, i've heard from a few desperate and stupid friends that they finally got a fully offline version of simcity off of the seedy places of the internets, simcity 4 forever
