Small Suggestion: Job Assigning in the Deployment Screen

Postby christhekiller » Mon Jul 01, 2013 11:51 pm

Right. So right now I have a problem with the jobs.

My Cleaning Cupboard and my laundry are right next to each other, unfortunately this has caused their job bubbles to overlap and it becomes infurtiatingly difficult to tell which places has how many jobs because I can't even begin to tell where Cleaning Cupboard jobs begin and where they end.

So my suggestion is that in the text that says "Max Jobs Y" have it say instead "Jobs: X out of Y" or if you'd prefer "Jobs: X/Y"
(Key: X = The current number of jobs assigned to a room, Y = The Max Number of Jobs)

+1
i would prefer a numerical representation of the amount of jobs assigned to a given room as well, possibly as a game option if some people dislike it as well.

I have the exact same problem.

Doesn't necessarily need to be numerical, but more intelligent certainly, using more then one line. They know what the max possible workers are for a room size, using that they can logically make the icons the right size and amount of lines.

Thats good too. I'm personally a numbers man so I'd rather just see the numbers rather than having to count out the bubbles, but one, or both options are also good

Both, as workshops have a lot of people in, kind of makes the bubbles a pain!

yeah numerical or otherwise is fine, as long as it's a more clear indicator of the amount of jobs assigned to a room, at least personally.
