I picked Synthesized ever since I got the beta off of 4chan (And seeing as how I bought it and STILL play it I gotta say it's a great game) after watching the main screen for a short time. I saw the various information fly by and the word 'Synthesized' caught my eye. So I decided to pick it.
I occasionally play as [CPU]Player 6 just to confuse people.

Domino
1. It's part of my dog's name and my dog is cool.
2. It reminds me of "The Domino Theory" - I might be wrong but I think this had something to do with a fear during the cold war, that even if one small state (Latin American I think) should fall to communism, they all would and the USA would have a whole load of Russki nukes parked off its southern border.

Your dog called Fats Domino or something?
Mas'aq (named after the Mas'aq Orbital, a man-made AI-controlled world in a book by Ian M. Banks, a British author.). Just liked it, and I use it as my primary/dominant nickname in most games I play. I use various other names in Defcon and the Battlefield series when I feel like testing new things or just mucking about.

Mine comes from the fact that it's short, easy to remember, easy to spell (vital for me), and sounds fairly cool.
For years I went by the online name "Falloutboy" based off of the Fallout mascot. I left the gaming world for a couple yeras, in which time the band showed up (much to my irritation), and I needed something new.

Mine comes from a character in the series Red vs. Blue (Church is the guy on the Blue side with turquoise armor). I thought it was a cool name for this game, something different, so I went with it.
I would've chosen Donut, but the game doesn't have pink as a team color
Donut: "It's not pink! It's lightish red."
-Church

Sheila: "Target aquired."
Caboose: "That's not a target, that's Church!"
