I bought the game 2 weeks ago and I haven't played it once because I'm having the same problem. This is really pissing me off. If there is no way to fix this can I at least have my $30 back. Erggg! All of my friends told me not to buy a game that wasn't on steam and it looks like they were right!

48 hours since my payment was taken and I have no key or response to my email to IV support, will have to raise a PayPal dispute at this rate which seems pretty pathetic for something that should be emailed instantly/automatically.

Raising a paypal dispute doesn't help you or IV. Try contacting them on twitter.

error when they try and activate their alpha key? I had a quick look on their twitter page about the d/t earlier today but it said it was all fixed. I wonder if they are aware of this issue

This error appeared for everything in the past few hours. Seems fixed now, when's the last time you tried?

Now i just have the hard decision of, Do i wait up to hope it gets fixed or do i goto sleep and get up early :/

edit: its the register button on the http://www.prison-architect.com/register page that doesn't work not the page it self.

Is it possible to add my copy to steam in anny way?

Just thinking about updates and such as it would make it so much easier to download updates from steam then look around like an idiot :s
If not is there going to be an easy to acces page where purchasers can download updates?

No. The game is in alpha, and is not available on Steam (yet). Once it is released, it might be possible. Prior to release, you are SOL. That may continue to be the case after release, too.
