Foreman currently only seems to unlock the two janitorial employee types - I suspect he might be in charge of queues and work schedules in the future (like making zones and giving them priorities throughout the day)

They allow you to research more, without them, you can start a research in their speciality field, but it wont progress until you hire em

In my wishes, the Foreman should go around repairing the prison.

After you, you notice how swiftly the prison dilapidates?
I don't know why; no building becomes this decrepit after three days, but here in this prison world it sure does.

Ehh.. that's not his job. Hire janitors and gardeners and they'll keep the place tidy and crack free. Workmen will carry out repairs like normal.

I don't see my gardeners doing anything. No tiles cleaned. Only the cleaners have been doing that.

I always pictured that the workmen would be more efficient do a better job and faster, when you have a foreman.

forman could be in charge of stock rooms so you could store food in one place and objects in another and have a stock pile so your workmen amd cooks can just get access to the items quickly so you could acctualy have a stock room attached to your kitchen with a big food supply

a chief should either be a punishment giver or could do a visit to a cell to have a little chat with inmates about there behaviour

I'd been hoping the foreman would increase worker efficiency and the chief increase gaurd effeciency with training (with a cost in research and the time to do it of course) so it's more than a stepping stone to the rest of the tree that I don't want to sack when I'm finished.

Chief Wiggum and George Foreman will hopefully do more in the future, at the moment they are just routes to unlock.
