Am up to 64 prisoners now and still nothing. As soon as I see a bit of contraband I search them and get it taken away, and aside from two mealtimes everything else is freetime, so everyone is happy.

I've hit a wall with money now though, it's costing too much to make new cells compared to the money I'm getting. So it's only going to get worse!

I like the open-style more at the moment, maybe a security-flaw when prisoners start to break through fences:

Edit: Have to mention, i'm using a workshop abuse to increase my income. Still not a single fight, but there are not many prisoners (around 30) right now.
Edit 2: This is a bad post because it doesn't match the topic "Good prison". I finally hired an accountance and now i have the mess... 22 escaped prisoners :/ That is not good. Maybe that's the reason for all my calm inmates, they now they will escape in the near future.

One thing I like about the finality of laying down foundations and not being able to edit them is it makes me very cautious when making buildings. I've found myself bringing out the graph paper to figure out building sizes before making anything :P It's a very dwarf fortress-y thing to do, but hey, I love DF

Is it just me, or is a prisoner raping a guard in the shower while another prisoner keeps lookout?

A TV in almost every cell? Must be white collar criminals, no wonder you don't have many problems.

Have realised since then that TVs in each cell isn't necessary.

When my kitchen didn't have staff only access I had a mass brawl in the showers with knifes!!

I ended up putting a metal detector on the door to the canteen, and haven't had a problem with contraband or weapons since.

I've had zero incidents thus far and a positive prison value-- I intend to keep it that way now that I've figured out [read: been told] how to stop the constant influx of new inmates.

Started out ok with the holding cell and single cell block with about 30 prisoners, but then ran out of money. So I edited the save and gave myself a bit more, haha.

Had a bit of trouble in the beginning getting people to follow door rules. It took a bit of rearranging in the regime schedule and keeping in mind prisoners like to try to take the shortest route. Now everyone follows the maze and the cell blocks are mostly segregated except when it comes to lunchtime :lol:
