Umm, it says in the info.txt file in the download the music's from the game 'World Racing 2'
I've got the music from it from a demo of the game, I could probably upload file to rapidshare or somewhere for you to download it.
Here's the music (WMA format): World Racing 2 Theme

Why?

The transparant explosion allows you to actually see what lies under those explosions (and thus target further)
I admit it's a bit of a moot point, as the cursor indicates it anyway. Just wanted to make sure it was OK to use it.

As you say, the cursor will point out targets. I don't think that anyone would see it as cheating.

Right, though my impression is that it will help me keep a better oversight of what's going on when a lot of nukes are inbound for a certain area. Especially if those nukes aren't yours.
It's actually quite nice being able to tell how large the pop of a given city still is, all the while it is blowing up. And this is where the transparent explosion "gives you the edge". (seemingly)
