Darwinia Multiplayer FPS

Postby JungleCat » Sat Oct 28, 2006 12:52 pm

ive read about a darwinia multiplayer....i cant wait IV !!! hurry up! screw DEFCON its gay!! (sorry darwinia's way better)

ive also read some talk about an fps version of the game, and ive thoguht of a way to do this...

Source. Thats right, source. Simple mod dev's hat dont get paid make up awesome compeltly new mods with the source engine, such as dystopia and the hidden. i thought a darwinia one woulnt be to hard...

since IV already has ties with valve (using steam to distro IV games) maybe IV could negotiate (to have hl2 engine with darwinia souce so its not a mod...u shoudl knwo wat i mean).

lets see; i was playing garrys mod and noticed a tool which made thigns look diff (like making a jeep have the water textures etc...) and a lot of these strongly resembled darwinas graphics. SO how hard would it be to make a source mod that has near to no textures very simple models and jagged maps which is still uber cool???

with the know how which IV could easily get (with all there wisdom) and perhaps assistants from others (like mod dev's) i belive a "Darwinia Source" could easily be created!!!!

what does everyone else think? if u want i can post some pcis of that darwinia type textrue thigns in garrys mod....

Correct.

The movement of "No, just no," has been made and seconded. I now call for an immediate vote. Would all in favor of the movement please say "aye."

Frankly, some of the things you suggested were just plain dumb. The rest was stupid.

I think that an Aye would be a suitable injection at this point. A darwinia Fps is a great idea until you consider that millions of pointless darwinians die every second in a battle - and there is bugger all you can do as a lone darwinian :P

That is why you get promoted to "officer" status! Guide the helpless little guys to safety! (Or just stash them until you figure out how to absorb them...)
