Okay, part two is now playable from start to finish - but I'm not quite sure if I feel it's 'finished'. Opinions, Should I just release it, maybe call it v0.9, or ask like 5 people or so to give it a quick test run to make sure I didn't miss anything/storylline makes sense?

Release it to all. Like you released two versions of part one. And do it quick.

WOW THAT WAS GREAT but some parts need a little fixing like at the end, i clicked on the mission and it just took me to an ant hill and when you quit at the end level, you can't come back in.

CAN'T WAIT FOR NUMBER 3  :D

jaysc - yeah, i could see how leaving the last level might be a problem, I'll fix it - I didn't expect anyone to try and leave the very last level until they were done - but could you send me a screenie of this anthill problem?

Edit: and has anyone made it all the way through? I got through last night twice, I wouldn't have released it otherwise, but someone may have tripped on something else I didn't notice...

well on the last level (after assembler) It says: Secure the Assembler area in the mission box. When i click on it, it takes me to a ant hill.

The reason i quited was because i had to help my mother do something and it took me a while.

Heh - I never added any 'help' to the objectives in part 2, i'm suprised it did anything at all. I didn't think anyone'd actually do that after finishing the main game. Have to go take my kid to see Madagascar in like... 2 minutes ago, I'll work on fixing that stuff when I get back.

Quite an enjoyable mod, though I found a bit of possible debug content in Decompiler: the island that has the trunk port to Assembler has a megasqaud (about 25 squadies) and a second Prometheus. Saved me the trouble of making my way there, but looks like it shouldn't really be there :P

Also quite a few of the objectives are the standard "open this trunk port, it has a control tower yadda yadda" briefing, when most of the time they're either not trunk port objectives, or the trunk ports have no control towers. Might want to script in a few responses. :)

Overall, a well thought out mod, good plot (if a little predictable, but hey, all the good storylines are already done ;)). I'd rate it an 86%

Doh! I knew I should have someone look it over before I released it. Good thing I didn't call it 1.0.

Edit: Made some fixes. Probably have to make a new profile though, if you're partway through. Another good reason I made short parts with only 3-4 levels each, eh?

Um... nope. Can you tell me where you get the error? In a level, loading the mod, changing profiles, what?

Edit: Your msvcrt.dll could be an old version. Try looking at this:

Or this:

If you've finished the game, you should have a 'mods' folder in your 'darwinia' folder. If you don't, make one. 'EnemyWithin' (or 'EnemyWithinPart2') goes in there.
