Game speed

I have a good system to run the demo on, but when i do it goes slow. is there a speed thing or anything?!
the only thing stopping me is my lazyness

System specs (processor, memory, video card) would be helpful here...

While it would be nice to know what kind of system you are working on, there are things that you could do. Set graphical detail to low. Reduce the sound quality. Use a lower resolution. As I am on a Mac, all I have seen is the beta. However, using the lower detail levels, I found that I could get my little lappy with its built in video to produce about 20 fps, which, while not great, is playable.

I am running on a Hewlett Packard Pavilion with;
Windows XP: Home Edition
Direct X 9.0C
AMD Athlon CP 3000+
2.16 Ghz
448 MB of ram

Hope that helps you. it doesnt seem to help me one bit

by the way, i can only seem to get 3fps, and 4fps if im lucky
the only thing stopping me is my lazyness

What graphics card? Gfx cards are very important to Darwinia.
