How Long Must I Wait?

Postby Hamster2 » Sat Dec 18, 2004 5:37 am

One fateful afternoon I looked in my inbox, and low and behold, I was chosen to participate in phase two, or the full game beta. I printed the form, and mailed it off, and have been waiting to be able to dl the full beta since, but have not been granted 'special access.' How long must I wait?? :(

Until IV get the form and give you access. . .

How long the mail takes would depend on where you are. Regular ground/sea mail from the US can take weeks (and is oddly more expensive than airmail). :)

No, actually, all you have to do is send it to 'em per mail.
I live in Germany, I sent it per Air Mail and it took about a week (seeing I'm a bit closer to England than, say, the USA).

So if more than a month passes and you haven't heard from IV up to then, try sending another copy :)

It can take some time - I had to wait a week and I live in the UK, so anyone outside the UK will probably be waiting for 2 weeks or more.

You could try whining to them, Rkiver...I'm sure that will help, it seems as though it usually does...

You are never going to stop insinuating that is how I got in now are you? Not until I post the damn logs you will not be happy. I did not "whine" to Chris. I joked, did the whole "fan boy" thing, and left it as that. I did not expect to get in, I did not ask to get in, bar the original application. I was chosen, well, for whatever reasons Chris had. If you have a problem with that, go ask him about it.

Oh Rkiver...of course I wasn't referring to that...
