That spam was utterly pathetic. Perhaps don't post trash like "I 2", "Agree!", "hehe, yeah", because that only goes to show the void in your head.

I read on this topic about DVD videos which will only work in DVD players, not DVD ROM Drives.

(Sorry for not quoting but I can't find the post)

This to me sounds a lot like the flawed method usedon a couple of audio CDs in the UK (more in US). Many people don't have a dedicated CD player, using their computer as a complete entertainment system. Sales of these CDs fell and the idea was scrapped in UK (unsure of US)

The same problem arises with these DVDs, I personally do not have a dedicated DVD player, I either use the PS2 or hook my PC to my TV. As both methods involve using a DVD ROM drive these titles would be unplayable for me - and the many others in my situation, and reduce sales.

The point is that over protecting media affects legitamate customers more than would-be pirates, who hook a normal CD/DVD player to the PC ad copy away. How many times have you (or someone you know) bought a game (or some other form of software), lost the CD key and rendered the thing a useless waste of $$$.

never, people who can not keep things like that together are idiots and should not be allowed to use computers, in all my games and I have serial code on either the box in instruction manuel, once again on the disk and once again stuck to the inside of the box. If you cant keep the parts of your gae together its your own problem.

on another note id like to congratulate chemman on being the first warez monkey to actually speak proper english instead of the conventional:

And might I add that the english is self-learned. :D

Anyway, being a pirate (stick to that term. monkey just doesn't fit) doesn't imply being a moron or someone with lowered intelligence. People who live from piracy alone aren't people you could call stupid. Disconcerned - perhaps - but not stupid. People who are able to formulate a logical sentence not in the likes of "OMGWTFUIZL33TH4X0rT33CHUZ?!?!" *and* are pirates simply usually don't reveal that fact.

Which means that there are smart pirates. I, because of some twisted fate (and the piracy attitude here in Poland) have revealed that fact.

As for loosing the serial. When you do, and have proof of buying the full version of the game, you have full right of using... or even making a keygen. Just as with a mailbox - breaking into someone's mailbox is illegal, but pounding your with a crowbar in case you lost the key is pretty much legal, and no one could complain... if you aren't too loud.

I think I may have made a mistake in saying warez monkey is that a warez monkey implies a brainless moron who copies and his l33th4x0ur :P

I apologise for the miss leadment. From now on you shall be known as a pirate, but not the cool ones with ships and parrots, just a boring and selfish pirate.

You can probably do better by doing away with the 'boring and selfish', it's very demeaning for even a person such as chemman. Not that I'm siding him, but the point is, let's not get into personalities and just stick with the issues, shall we? It makes the conversation more light and engaging and less bandwagonning to irritation.

makes it clear that in the first post you *don't* like l33t-t41k, but in the second you say that it makes me boring and selfish. Thus, in the second post you negate what you have said earlyier. Is it a result of a split-personality or emotional instability?

I think you need to stop trying to use big words without actually know what your saying, In the second post I said nothing about 'l33t t41k'. I simply said you wern't a sea pirate just to ones that steal games, no offence and I may be wrong because ive never seen you but the pirates around were I live tend to follow a stereotype of being fat and lazy and in some cases smelly:P Might not be you but I dont know. by the way I am not trying to abuse you with that last sentance, im just saying what the typical pirate around here is like.

Well, if you preffer me to use small words, then it won't be a problem. If it helps you understand my posts better.

Me iz tinking dat U iz wrong cuz u...

I personally preffer to post it like I do it all the time. So, if you would like to see the above method, just ask. If you don't understand any of the words, ask, and I will enlighten you.

And as for pirates where you live - that is an indication, not a rule of who is a pirate. And no offense taken.

I have read your short and little post, and to me - there aren't many interpretations of something so straightsorward. You are obviously unhappy, because you seem incapable of using other methods of discussion, which apparently are above you. Your flaws, so to speak, are not a reason to take this discussion down to the level you want.

Let your extemporaneous descantings and unpremeditated expatiations have intelligibility and veracious vivacity, without rodomontade or thrasonical bombast. Sedulously avoid all polysyllabic profundity, pompous prolixity, psittaceous vacuity ventriloquial verbosity, and vaniloquent vapidity. Shun double-entendres, prurient jocosity, and pestiferous profanity, obscurant or apparent!!

As for using big words - perhaps I do make errors. My english is not perfect - far from it. If I do make an error, don't criticize me generally, but point out the error. That, in contrast to the discussion we make is productive.
