Bert, I'm pretty sure Jelco has talked to Introversion and is working on correcting the problem (apparently the scores sent are not what the game uses internally to work out who wins).

I'll see if I can find the two games I've been in that have been a problem.

Yes, yes :) My point was that even if the clients send irrelevant scores, the server should not log the raw scores, but give the one marked as the winner by the clients (there's a separate data item for that) more points than the others. Apparently, that doesn't work :) Turns out I was doing things a in an a lot more complicated way than the problem called for, and messed it up. I'll be uploading a fixed version soon.

I know that, but if I want people to not know that I suck at this game, I'd better practice and get good at it in the next 45 MINUTES?!?! AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

The Ladder is online?

My server will be up as soon as Jelco relinks my account and server.

Don't forget to register your keyIDs in any official server, peeps!

Firstly great job on the ladder. It's a top addition to a great game. I have done a brief scan of the forum posts and was interested to know if there are any plans from introv to enhance the event generation. It would be great to see some more granular stats around power ups received , spawn points won or lost etc. There is a load of interesting stats that us number freaks could get off on. You could possibly derive a daily leaderboard from this info broken into categories such as seen in the CSS stats packs. Anyways just some ramblings its more than fine in its current state :D

Loving this stuff so far, congrats and thanks to all.

One question; how do you challenge? The FAQ seems to cover the concept but not the method.

The limit of my knowledge on this:

Access opponent's profile.
Click on challenge user.

I *hope* that's all that needs to be known about it.
