im from germany, and english is not my motherspeech.. so sorry -.-
but please answer my question
Verpiss dich. English doesn't need to be your mother tongue in order to know how capitalise and punctuate, especially when you first language is German. If you want answers from people around here you're going to have to stop living up to the Steam user stereotype by growing the fuck up and learning to type.

if u want that everything has to be right, leave this topic
These aren't the Steam forums, kiddo. If you want help around here you're going to have to put a lot more effort into your posts otherwise people won't bother to read what you write let alone write a response.

I take it you've never learnt German, but then, you type in the exact same shitty way as him so you would try to defend him.

Regarding the versions, they all should be compatible. If that appears not to be the case, please provide a screenshot (say, of a server browser list where almost all of the servers are red because they're incompatible). I'm using the steam version here too and don't see any less games than usual.
Also, as we know from the experience with Defcon, patches take a while to be processed by Valve so they can get to steam customers. The only way to release patches to all customers at once would be to wait for that process to finish, and that means letting the direct customers wait for their patch. I agree that with compatibility breaking patches, that's the way to go: you want to make them available to everyone at once. But this is not such a patch.
