Uplink Android Screen Inverted Kindle Fire HD

I suspect this is due to trying to play on Kindle Fire HD which is probably unsupported but I thought I'd ask.

The game seems to work OK but the screen is upside down...if I turn the kindle round the screen flips upside down again.

Anybody know a fix or is it just a nogo on this device?
