At this point it's like many "Online Uplinks". Vapourware.

iHacker is certainly not vapourware - still in full development. The forums are back online too - http://forums.aboxx.com. Sorry for the delay in updates, I had a long holiday period over the winter break.

That's an understatement. Last update you gave was July last year. Is it any wonder we considered it vapourware?

I meant updates in general. I mainly update the community on the game's forums rather than here.

I cannot seem to reach the iHacker website, nor any website regarding it at aboxx. Does the game have an active website or domain? Is it in Alpha testing? or even Beta testing? if so are you looking from anyone from the Uplink community to help test it?

in a sidenote regarding 'online uplink' type games: There is a browser based game called slavehack that slightly resembles uplink (more in a way that I miss uplink when playing it lol|)

Pretty cool only that voice is pretty annoying. Can you turn it off because there's no real
point to it since you can work out for yourself what you just did 2 seconds ago.

Yes, you can turn the voice off. The voice is only there for effect - not really to help the user.

Here's a link to the new video of iHacker's OS in action. The game is still in development:

Site: http://www.ihacker.co.uk/

Forum: http://forum.aboxx.com/

It must be said, http://www.introversion.co.uk/darwiniaplus/ has some stiff competition for "Least amount of useful information to someone who doesn't already know everything about it"
