Do the decent thing. Don't go "omgwtfbbq lolzorz" on some forum, but create a new e-mail address and drop the site admin a line about how you got in, so he can fix it. I am very sure you don't have any personal issues with this particular e-zine... so just be a man and help them out, rather than a script kiddie (yes, I said it) who revels in his own "ingenuity"...

Oh, and out of personal (I am drunk, though) interest: how can you be a "Microsoft hater" and post a screenshot of Windows-fucking-Vista at the same time? Kinda weird, like Goldmember telling Dr Evil he's toight loik a toiger.

And as for what I lol'd at... if you're going to brag about doing something which, at the end of the day, is still illegal, get your personal information out of your profile. Seriously, what the fuck.

I Kinda disagree with that. I'm the one that holds to that you should harm nor help somebody you do not know so that nobody ellse will be able to do the same thing you just did that provided you with pleasure :)

At least in the hacking world...Ofcourse it is quite different if you truly belive that someone might be after to specificly harm an individual. Then you might and should help, even for free.

Is that why you were searching for PHPJackal?

for your information, PHPJackal is a web based PHP shell, i uploaded it to a third party site, and used the include command in php to make the site run the shell

was really simple

Anyone try just putting a Windows install CD into the machine to completely circumvent the password?

That will only work if Booting from CD or other removable media is not disabled in the BIOS. Also, there is a security setting in windows that if enabled, you won't be able to access the recovery console without a password. So, even if you were able to boot into the Windows Install disc, you will still need to have password.

Phoenix, you'll still have the option to re-install Windows, and leaving
the file system as well as intact.

However the registry database will be re-initiated so data stored
only there would be lost. But the up side is a new Admin password
of your own choosing ;) with which you can make every file readable
if needed be. Even the old Documents will still be there. Encrypted
are a little trickier but I'm sure there's a way around that as well.

just my 2 cents.
